A mailing list is a powerful tool for sending updates, newsletters, or promotional materials to a group of people. In this article, we will guide you through the process of creating a mailing list using Gmail, one of the most popular email services available.
Accessing Google Contacts:
To create a mailing list in Gmail, you need to access your Google Contacts. Open Gmail in your web browser and click on the “Google Apps” icon (nine dots) in Malaysia Email List the upper-right corner. From the dropdown menu, select “Contacts.” This will open the Google Contacts interface, where you can manage your contacts and mailing lists.
Creating a New Group:
In Google Contacts, click on the “Labels” option on the left-hand side. Then, click on the “Create label” button. A dialog box will appear where you can enter a name for your mailing list, such as “Subscribers” or “Customers.” After providing a name, click “Save.” Your new group will now appear in the left sidebar under “Labels.”
Adding Contacts to the Mailing List:
To add contacts to your mailing list, click on the newly created label in the left sidebar. Then, click on the “Add a contact” button, which looks like a person WS Database PH with a plus sign. Fill in the contact’s details, such as name and email address, and click “Save.” Repeat this process for each contact you want to include in the mailing list.
Sending Emails to the Mailing List:
Now that you have created your mailing list, it’s time to compose and send emails to the group. To do this, open Gmail and click on the “Compose” button to start a new email. In the “To” field, type the name of your mailing list label. Gmail will automatically suggest the label as you type. Select the label from the suggestions, and it will populate the “To” field with all the email addresses from your mailing list. Compose your email as usual and click “Send” when you are ready to send it.
